Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, including installation of electric hot water heaters and boilers. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for installations and repairs. Collaborate with HVAC technicians as needed for integrated system installations. Execute carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations or repairs. Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to prevent accidents or injuries.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Proficiency in HVAC systems is a plus for integrated service offerings. Experience in construction environments, demonstrating familiarity with building codes and regulations. Competence in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate installations. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Ability to perform welding tasks as required for specific plumbing applications. Capability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work hours.
