Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including Commercial Service Work, Commercial projects, Industrial Service work, and Fire Alarm Projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, with an emphasis on Fire Alarm Systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with both hand and power tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Opportunities to operate a Service Van are available to the right candidates.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations and repairs. Work with low voltage systems as well as logic controllers for various applications. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or renovations. Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyperson Electrician certificate. Proven experience as an electrician in both commercial and industrial environments. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety practices. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
