Patrick Sprack Limited (PSL) was formed in 2006 as a Preventative Maintenance Oriented HVAC company. Since this time, we have become a reputable and leading Northern Ontario HVAC-R contractor to the mines, industrial sites as well as commercial properties.

PSL provides a variety of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, petroleum, propane, and refrigeration services ranging from planned maintenance (both preventative and full coverage), inspections and diagnostic services as well as repairs, retrofits, and new installations for commercial and industrial mechanical systems.

Licensed Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, ventilation, and fixtures in Commercial/Industrial setting. Responsible to ensure that work is completed in accordance with relevant codes.

Main Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, and control panels. Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment. Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and P&IDs. Work with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems for troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support plant reliability and efficiency. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Requirements

Journeyman Electrician or Instrumentation Technician certification (or dual ticket preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Familiarity with PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), VFDs, and industrial automation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

The ability to read and understand blueprints Knowledge of basic Commercial/Industrial wiring methods Knowledge of basic hand tools and drills sets 5 years of 309A Licensed experience Willing to Work Out Of Town (2weeks on/2 weeks off)
