Red Seal Carpenters

Key Responsibilities

Red Seal Carpenters:

Lead framing and carpentry tasks for residential and commercial projects Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately Measure, cut, assemble, and secure wood and structural materials to code Mentor and train apprentice carpenters on techniques, tools, and safety practices Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently Oversee quality control, ensuring projects meet company and client standards Work collaboratively with the Site Foreman and project team

Qualifications

Red Seal Carpenters:

Minimum 4+ years of framing or carpentry experience (red seal/journeyperson an asset) Strong knowledge of framing, and carpentry best practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Leadership skills with the ability to mentor apprentices Reliable transportation to job sites across Winnipeg and surrounding areas High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Comfortable with hand and power tools (training provided if needed) Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow in the trade CSA-approved work boots and PPE required

Work Schedule & Compensation

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (overtime after 40 hours/week) Full-time, permanent positions Vacation pay included in each paycheck Semi-monthly pay (15th and last day of the month) Additional compensation for out-of-town work Benefits package eligibility after 3 months of employment
