Our client in Fredericton NB is looking for a Red Seal Carpenter to join their team. Wage will be negotiable depending on the experience.

Location: Fredericton New Brunswick
Pay Rate: $25.00 to $30.00 (Based on experience)

What\'s the job?
Construct chutes, forms and align form panels for pouring concrete.
Observe and comply with all health and safety regulations and ensures any apprentices under your direction comply.
Lay building foundations.
Confirm trueness of structures
Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
Keep a daily log of tasks.
Contribute and participate in the effective use of the Quality Control System.
Prepare estimates for work orders and request materials required to complete the job.
Set up scaffolding as needed.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience as a Carpenter.
Red seal, journeyman ticket
Knowledge of safe operation of carpentry tools.
Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Ability to read specifications, blueprints, and as-builds.
Ability to draw appropriate sketches to communicate details to team members, and others.
Mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do material and labor estimates.
Receptive to change - can adapt to changing circumstances.
