THE OPPORTUNITY \xe2\x80\x93 RECYCLING SORTER (P/T; Hourly)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Sort recycled beverage containers efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide an accurate and complete receipt for recycled beverage containers brought in by customers seeking a refund.
  • Follow safe work place practices, and report all unsafe work conditions to the supervisor or Manager.
  • Report any maintenance needs in Bottle Depot to the supervisor or Manager.
WHAT YOU BRING
We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
  • Capable of lifting up to 20k and awkward containers.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good hand eye coordination skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment (Baler and Aluminum Can Counter).
