We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Recycling-Sortor to join Airdrie Bottle Depot . The ideal candidate will be responsible for Sorting and Counting bottles. And also responsible for Pick-Ups and Bottle Drives while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.This role includes tasks like identifying non-returable containers, sorting by size and type, cleaning workplace, and operate various types of vehicles and equipment. . Strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Duties
Customer Satisfaction is on Top-priority.
Helping customers to unload the vehicle.
Sorting/Counting containers by proving great customer service.
Operate Cube- trucks/tow vehicle and trailer/pickup-truck for Bottle-Drives and Pickups.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload trailer, ensuring proper
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
Communicate effectively with clients, and other team members regarding pickup schedules and any potential issues.
Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
Operate heavy equipment as required for loading or unloading , including forklifts when necessary.
Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals.
Maintains a tidy and organized work area.

Qualifications
Valid Class 5 GDL (commercial driver's license) is required.
Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record is essential.
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is desirable.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This position offers a starting salary $15.00. Performance-based salary increases are reviewed annually, with opportunities to advance to higher salary bands as experience and contributions grow.
