About Play Forever

Play Forever is a national charity empowering refugees, newcomers, youth, and seniors through recreation, education, and employment programs. Our Employment Program helps newcomers and refugees find meaningful, long-term jobs through skills development, mentorship, and direct employer connections.

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and results-driven recruitment professional with strong employer networks who can help connect our clients with real job opportunities. The ideal candidate already works in HR or recruitment and is eager to contribute part-time to a social-impact initiative by building partnerships and creating employment pathways across Ontario's growing and high-demand sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, and staffing agencies. Identify open positions and match them with qualified program participants. Support candidates with resumes, applications, and interview preparation. Achieve monthly job placement targets and track outcomes. Collaborate with Play Forever's employment team to strengthen employer partnerships.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or job development. Strong employer network and solid understanding of Ontario's job market. Proven record of successful candidate placements. Excellent communication and outreach skills. Passion for helping newcomers and refugees succeed.

Work Environment

Flexible hybrid role based in Toronto, with a mix of remote work and employer meetings.
