Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment and Talent Management Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, talent acquisition, and employee development. This role is crucial in ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop the best talent to support our company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored solutions.
Create and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Support the development and implementation of high-performance management systems and employee development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to improve processes and outcomes.
Collaborate with leadership to identify training and development needs.
Lead succession planning initiatives and support internal mobility.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
CHRP or CHRL designation (or working toward) is considered an asset.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment and talent management, ideally within manufacturing and/or distribution industry.
Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and talent acquisition strategies.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards and other sources for attracting top candidates.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Willingness to travel to other Canarm locations.
Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
