37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour shifts. Some weekend and evenings will be required.

Position Summary

• Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Recruitment Advisor is actively involved in recruiting and converting students to meet recruitment targets by representing Quinte Health at various in-person and virtual events, such as high school visits, college fairs, community events, career fairs, and other venues. The incumbent is an ambassador for Quinte Health, who will build and cultivate relationships with prospective students, as well as maintain relationships with key stakeholder/influencer groups including guidance counsellors, teachers, placement coordinators and community partners. The incumbent works closely with the Recruitment and Retention Specialist and other HR staff across the Hospital to align recruitment programming with strategic goals.

Required

• Completion of a diploma in Human Resources, Public Relations, Sales, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years\' experience in recruitment, marketing, public relations, or sales or other equivalent combination of education and experience
• Specific experience working in a Unionized environment considered an asset
• Knowledge of post-secondary programs, services, and placement process is required.
• Exceptional customer service, sales, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring understanding an effective response to customer\'s needs
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of office-related software (i.e. MS Office, Applicant tracking System, database)
• An ability to apply an understanding of diversity and inclusiveness to meet the needs of a diverse customer and stakeholder population
• Experience planning and facilitating educational and informational workshops
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver\'s license with a clean driving abstract

Duties

• Attend on and off campus and virtual events and activities intended to promote Quinte Health and recruit students
• Builds and cultivates relationships with prospective students, as well as maintains relationships with key stakeholders/influencer groups (placement coordinators)
• Connects and nurtures leads until offer acceptance
• Acts as contact for prospective students and various stakeholders to advise on Quinte Health opportunities & workplace culture
• Works with the Recruitment and Retention Specialist to maintain and report on strategic targets and goals
• Performs direct and indirect market outreach
• Develop Co-ops program and opportunities for high school to provide experience within Hospital setting
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, making recommendations for improvements and implementing innovative tactics to attract top nursing talent.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective nursing students, their status in the recruitment process, and their outcomes
• Plans and implement workshops to enhance student experience and provide professional development opportunities
• Other duties as assigned.
