Recruiting Coordinator

that will help us continue to build and grow our teams!

This is a critical and pivotal role in our development as a growing company, one that requires experience, commitment to our purpose, and a can-do attitude, amongst other attributes.

This role will work with the National HR & Talent Acquisition Manager, the National Talent & Acquisition Team Lead, and the local Recruiting team to focus on recruiting security guards for our various locations across Eastern Canada. This includes screening resumes, conducting interviews, offering positions, and completing new hire/onboarding paperwork and processes.

The Recruiting Coordinator will work a 40 hour work week. Our business operates 24/7 and in this role your working days will be from Sunday - Thursday, where you will work from our Etobicoke, ON office on weekdays.

Regular hours will be 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

The successful candidate will possess very strong organizational and time-management skills, have experience recruiting, and demonstrate that they are capable of working in a busy, multi-faceted position. We're all young professionals, and are looking for an energetic, motivated, forward thinking, and driven Recruiter who will be very involved in the sustained growth of our business.

Job Duties:



Liase with management about hiring needs. Screen and interview candidates within your region(s). Schedule interviews for candidates with hiring managers and/or recruiters. Effectively manage and maximize recruitment budgets for your region. Post job advertisements and explore alternate platforms or methods of advertising. Manage and oversee open ads and recruitment platforms. Collect new hire information and complete new hire/onboarding documentation. Actively recruit potential candidates (think "headhunting"!). Attend hiring fairs and similar events. Identify new ways to recruit and engage potential candidates. Coach hiring managers on best practices and techniques. Prepare a variety of recruiting-related reports. Other recruitment-related activities as directed by the leadership team.

Requirements:



Post-secondary education in HR and/or Business Administration is an asset. Minimum of 2 years recruiting/talent acquisition experience. Experience in the Security Industry is preferred. French language skills are a major asset. Excellent English language and communication skills (written and verbal). Experience using job boards. Knowledge of interviewing best practices and applicable legislation. Able to work in our Etobicoke office. High attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
