Business Development Recruiter
to drive growth across Alberta--including
Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray, and surrounding regions.
This is a 100% commission-based role focused solely on business development. You bring in the clients--our sourcing team handles the recruiting.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet growth targets
Identify and engage new clients through cold calling, networking, and local market outreach
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers
Understand client recruitment needs and communicate them to our internal HR sourcing team
Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and deliver value
Negotiate terms of business and client agreements to secure recruitment contracts
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and industry knowledge
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or recruitment (HR industry experience a bonus)
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of closing deals
Familiarity with HR sourcing and staffing best practices is an asset
Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of Alberta's local markets, including Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie, and Fort McMurray
A proactive problem-solver and team collaborator
Compensation
100% commission-based - the more you close, the more you earn
Competitive commission structure with no cap on earnings
The indicated salary range ($30,000-$40,000) is a performance-based estimate and may vary depending on individual success
