We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the trucking industry, with a proven track record of successfully recruiting drivers and support personnel. This role is essential in ensuring we attract and retain top talent in the competitive trucking market.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions, including AZ drivers and operational staff. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry contacts. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the company. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions that reflect those needs. Maintain an organized applicant tracking system and ensure compliance with hiring policies and regulations. Build relationships with industry organizations, driving schools, and local communities to establish a talent pipeline. Conduct background checks and verify credentials of candidates as needed. Assist with onboarding and training new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in recruitment, with a strong focus on the trucking or transportation industry. Knowledge of DOT regulations and the trucking industry's specific hiring requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
