RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, organize and implement a recreational program which responds to patient needs and is consistent with the philosophy and mandate of the department in liaison with the interdisciplinary team to support the achievement of the goals established Demonstrate QCH values - accountability, innovation, respect

REQUIREMENTS:

University Degree in Recreation or diploma in Therapeutic Recreation Possess two years' working experience in a mental health setting Ability to work independently, plan and implement new programs Knowledge of and experience in community development C.P.R. Certification Proven ability in independent and collaborative decision making Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuing education related to position
