Schedule:
Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Monday - 5:00 - 9:00 PM
Tuesday - 4:30 - 8:00 PM
Wednesday- 5:00 - 8:30 PM
Thursday - 5:00 - 9:00 PM

Job Responsibilities
Assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in meeting their needs of daily living
Design and implement recreational based activities
Reinforce social and life skills
Participate in mandatory meetings and training

Qualifications
Requirements
Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older.
Possession of a valid G license preferred, but not mandatory.
Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes (if applicable)
Qualification
Background related to child care, education, social work, psychology, social services, child and youth worker
Self-motivated and willing to learn
Flexible and adaptive to change
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Creativity, patience, and a passion for working with children and youth.

Reena was established in 1973 by parents of children with developmental disabilities as a practical alternative to institutions. In 1977, Reena began receiving funding from the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services and since that time has grown to provide support for hundreds of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Reena offers a variety of services including: residential support, respite programs, counselling, therapy and advocacy.
