Provide support as required to ensure that children/youth with special needs have opportunities to engage in recreational programs. This support may be provided in community camps and/or Lansdowne Recreation Programs.
Education:
Preferred - Post secondary school diploma in Human Services (ECE, DSW, CYW, Recreation/Leisure Studies, etc.).Experience:
Preference will be given to applicants that have experience with:working in recreation camps program
children with special needs ages preschool to teens
experience with proactive behaviour strategies
Other:
Emergency First Aid CPR Level C is required. Employment is conditional upon successful completion of background checks, including a police vulnerable sector check, proof of immunizations, including COVID-19 vaccination.Start Date:
May 2024 for training, full time July 2, 2024 - September 30, 2024Apply to:
