The Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan is seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring, results-oriented team player to join our team in the capacity of:

Recreation, Parks, and Facilities Attendant/Operator (Seasonal)

The Position:

The Recreation, Parks, and Facilities Attendant/Operator (Seasonal), under the direction of the Manager of Recreation, Parks and Facilities, will perform custodial and general maintenance duties within the Township's arena, curling club, facilities and parks. Duties also include maintaining the ice surface using the ice resurfacer and other equipment as required. The pay range is

$19.19 - $22.84 per hour

(2025 rate)

Qualifications: Our preferred candidate will have the following:

Grade 12 education and two years related experience (would be an asset)

Knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical equipment, safety and maintenance procedures and custodial activities

ORFA Basic Refrigeration Certificate (would be an asset)

WHMIS Certification and Standard First Aid/CPR with AED Training Certification

Valid Ontario Drivers License Class "G"

Smart Serve Training Certification (would be an asset)

Customer Service Training and/or Experience
