Job Description

Catalyst Surgical is a new plastic surgery clinic in Toronto serving the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, with a specialty in gender-affirming surgery (top surgery, facial fem/masc, body contouring).

Overview:

We are looking for Recovery Nurse positions at our clinic.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members to develop surgical plans and ensure proper execution

- Provide patient education and support regarding surgical procedures, recovery, and post-operative care

- Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in medical records

- Collaborate with case management teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth transitions between healthcare settings

Must have:

-Current Certificate of Competence with CNO

-BLS/ACLS required

-Demonstrated ability to handle and triage multipe priorities

-Comfort with technology (EMR, messaging systems, mobile tech)

Great to have:

Experience, lived or acquired, in the transgender/gender diverse community and/or in T/GD care is an asset.

Experience in plastic surgery, ENT, OMFS also an asset, but not required.

Experience in ER or ICU
