About Us
A successful Records and Information Management program protects and preserves information and records needed by the Minister, and departmental staff, to make informed decisions; thereby ensuring that the department serves the citizens of Nova Scotia in a transparent and accountable manner.
The Senior Records and Information Management Analyst will be responsible for developing innovative and effective program strategies and approaches which enable the Department of Public Works to meet its record keeping requirements, provincial standards and policies and statutory requirements in accordance with the procedures and regulations set out in the Government Records Act, the Freedom of Information and the Protection of Privacy Act and Departmental policies and procedures pertaining to records management. The Senior Records and Information Analyst will work within a complex environment, dealing not only with conventional correspondence, but unique record forms, including maps and drawings to tenders and contracts.
