The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Receiver
to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts (including rough terrain models), is organized, and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory records. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming materials, supporting inventory control, and contributing to a safe, efficient workplace.
Roles & Responsibilities
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
Safely operate forklifts, including rough terrain models, to move materials as required
Accurately document received goods using basic data entry systems
Organize and store materials in designated areas
Communicate discrepancies or damage to appropriate team members
Assist with cycle counts and inventory control processes
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Always follow safety procedures and company policies
Collaborate with team members and take on additional tasks as needed
Skills and Requirements
1-3 years of relevant receiving or warehouse experience
Forklift operation experience (Rough Terrain preferred)
Valid forklift certification is an asset
Basic computer proficiency for data entry
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Team-oriented and dependable, with the ability to work independently
