We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated full time Spa Attendant/Receptionist to join our team! The Spa Attendant/Receptionist will be delivering the highest level of customer service to our guests and working with our team to ensure maximum business efficiency and the best customer experience for all our guests. This position is full time from Wednesday to Sunday Who We Are Located in Historic Old Toronto, just steps away from St Lawrence Market and Eaton\xe2\x80\x99s Centre, Bahn Thai Spa and Wellness Centre is an Eastern oasis in the heart of downtown. We are #1 on Trip Advisor for Spas and Wellness in Toronto and are committed to the art of Traditional Thai Massage, healing not just the body but the mind and spirit as well. What We Do Traditional Thai Massage (nuad phaen boran, or \xe0\xb8\x99\xe0\xb8\xa7\xe0\xb8\x94\xe0\xb9\x81\xe0\xb8\x9c\xe0\xb8\x99\xe0\xb9\x82\xe0\xb8\x9a\xe0\xb8\xa3\xe0\xb8\xb2\xe0\xb8\x93) derives its origins from ancient Thai Buddhist monks and has been practiced and handed down throughout generations. In 2019 it was deemed an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Our dedication to this ancient healing art is what keeps our clients coming back for more! What are we looking for? This particular position is a hybrid role \xe2\x80\x93 in addition to facility responsibilities, this role includes front desk reception training and duties. The ideal candidate comes with previous facilities maintenance experience (front desk/reception experience is also a definite plus) and a passion for customer service and hospitality. You must be a team player and are able to efficiently multitask Excellent communication skills are required for this position via phone and email, all in order to help maintain the Spa to a 5-star standard. What would you be doing?
  • Welcoming all of our guests with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Maintaining the Spa to a 5-Star standard
  • Ensuring the highest level of standards for quality, customer service, health and safety
  • Following all company policies and procedures
  • Becoming fully versed in all products and services
  • Dealing with email and voicemail correspondence including questions about the school
  • Opening/closing the Spa
  • Processing POS and cash transactions with ease and accuracy
  • Performing other duties including laundry, cleaning and all aspects of spa maintenance
What other skills and qualifications do you need?
  • 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience
  • Office/Reception experience is a plus
  • Retail transactional experience is a plus
  • Effective time management, prioritization and communication skills
  • Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in customer service/retail
  • Knowledge of appointment booking software (Mindbody) an asset
