About the opportunity:



We are looking for a full-time Reception / Office Manager who will be based in

Comox, BC



The individual fulfilling this dual role will support the admin team and Portfolio Managers with reception and documentation as well as general office management. The ideal candidate has experience in client services, financial services, back-office admin, ideally within either a CIRO or CSA firm and the skills and maturity to work independently on the administration side of a high functioning professional office environment.

Key areas of responsibility:



This position will require a very organized, multi-tasking individual who understands the complexities of financial services and the desire to join and support a fast-growing company. Key accountabilities include:

Manage the daily functions of a professional office Provide reception services to clients arriving for appointments and calling in to receive our service and support Liaise with external suppliers to our Comox office Support the admin team with processes and documentation prep for the overall firm and its Portfolio managers. Special projects as assigned

Skill set required:



Working knowledge of MS Office applications; Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams Working knowledge of Adobe acrobat (e-sign and document cloud) Ability to manage phone systems, work with scanners and digital file folders including fileservers 2-5 years' experience working within the investment management industry or within other adjacent professional office environments is considered an asset. Organized, prompt, capable learners will thrive in this role

Our projected starting salary for this role is in the range of $50,000-$60,000 per year plus bonuses depending on experience, knowledge, and capabilities.
