About Us:

We are a busy solicitor based practice law firm in Comox, B.C. We handle real estate transactions, wills, estates, corporate and commercial law.

We are seeking a full-time Receptionist to service our many clients. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working as a Receptionist or in an office environment and will be looking to advance to become a legal assistant.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:



-Answering phones, taking messages and forwarding phone calls

-Welcoming clients

-Opening files, ordering office supplies, land title searches and company searches as directed

-Witnessing documents

-Faxing and emailing correspondence and documents

-Scheduling and managing appointments

Qualifications:

Attention to detail and great problem solving skills are an asset. Applicants need computer and customer service skills. This is a fast paced office and the job will require someone who is able to work under pressure and in a team environment. Previous work experience as a legal assistant, receptionist or administrator is an asset.
