Salt Secret Waterloo is seeking a confident, warm, and self-motivated Receptionist / Esthetician to join our growing salt spa and wellness team. This hybrid role blends front-of-house responsibilities with hands-on esthetic and body treatments in a tranquil, intentional environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, takes ownership of their role, and understands the importance of both exceptional guest experiences and revenue growth. This position is well suited for someone who thrives in a calm setting while remaining results-driven and sales-focused.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Front Desk

Greet and check in guests with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail Manage appointment scheduling, payments, and client records Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries with confidence and care Maintain a welcoming, organized, and serene front-of-house environment aligned with the Salt Secret brand
Esthetic & Salt Spa Services

Perform facials, body scrubs, massage, and experiential salt spa treatments Guide guests through Salt Secret's spa circuits and explain treatment benefits Deliver personalized, high-quality experiences that promote relaxation, wellness, and return visits
Sales & Revenue Growth

Confidently upsell services and retail products in a natural, guest-centered manner Meet and work toward individual sales targets and quotas Identify opportunities to enhance the guest journey while increasing per-visit revenue Take accountability for contributing to overall business growth and spa revenue
Operations & Environment

Maintain exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the spa Prepare, clean, and reset treatment rooms and shared spa areas Confidently manage daily spa operations independently during solo shifts
Requirements

Valid Esthetician license (as required by provincial regulations) Experience with facials, body treatments, massage, and experiential services is an asset Strong sales skills with comfort meeting performance expectations Excellent customer service and communication abilities Proven ability to work independently with professionalism and accountability Strong time-management, organization, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of sanitation, health, and safety standards in a spa or wellness environment Experience with reception, scheduling software, or retail sales is considered an asset A genuine passion for wellness, holistic care, and elevated guest experiences
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
