Veterinary Receptionist

to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced veterinary clinic environment. This is a

Part-Time position (evening shifts 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM)

with competitive pay. Candidates must have flexible availability, including weekends and Stat holidays.

Duties:

Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accurate record-keeping Collect payments for services rendered Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed Assist Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians with various tasks as needed Handle and safely restrain animals when required Ensure reception and client areas remain clean and organized

Requirements:

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is REQUIRED

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Proficient computer skills; experience with veterinary practice management software (EzyVet experience is an asset) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling and restraining animals Knowledge of laboratory procedures is an asset Must have
