Job Overview


We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a health clinic setting is a significant asset. The Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities



Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk; check them in efficiently. Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately. Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars using Jane booking software. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and other office software. Handle filing, document management, and general administrative tasks such as photocopying and faxing. Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic financial record keeping as needed. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a welcoming environment. Support clinic operations by managing client records, verifying insurance or payment information, and assisting with check-in/out procedures. Assist with the clinic's social media accounts by creating, scheduling, and posting content to engage clients and promote services.

Qualifications

Proven clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a medical/ health clinic or dental office setting Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and Jane (clinic management software) Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is desirable Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and typing Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette for handling multi-line phone systems Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with filing systems, front desk operations, and administrative procedures Prior experience with medical or dental office procedures is advantageous but not mandatory Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
