Job Description

Newsam Construction is continuing to grow and currently looking to expand their team.
We are a residential and commercial construction company focused on excellent customer service, first class construction and great design sensibility.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival at the office Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls Control office access via the reception desk Managing workers hours Generating excel sheets Perform clerical duties - filing, photocopying, manage office supplies Responsible for receiving and sorting of daily mail Manage Courier shipments (inbound and outbound) Preparing and completing routine forms, correspondence, reports and messages Data entry Filing and organization Other duties as assigned to assist office management Day shift

Strong attention to detail Demonstrated Initiative and resourcefulness Strong client focus; ability to work individually and with limited supervision Strong organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Efficient, courteous and professional Excellent telephone skills

Qualifications

Team player Excellent organization skills and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Solid written and verbal communication skills in English and French Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Knowledge QuickBooks and time tracking services are an asset Takes initiative and follows up on outstanding tasks Knowledge of general construction terminologies an asset
Experience

Administrative Skills: 3 years (Preferred) Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

Accueillir les clients a leur arrivee au bureau Repondre, filtrer et transferer les appels telephoniques entrants Controler l'acces au bureau via la reception Gestion des heures de travail des employes Generation de feuilles Excel Effectuer des taches de bureau - classement, photocopie, gestion des fournitures de bureau Reception et tri du courriel quotidien Gerer les envois par courriel (entrants et sortants) Preparer et completer les formulaires, la correspondance, les rapports et les messages de routine Saisie de donnees Classement et organisation Autres taches assignees pour aider la direction du bureau Travail de jour
