Job Description

Boutique litigation firm in central Downtown Vancouver is looking to add a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to their team in a busy, dynamic practice.

The firm is comprised of two partners, articled student, and legal support staff. You will be providing assistance to the legal assistants as well.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



General administrative duties as required, including dealing with venders.

Answering calls;

Arranging court filings and applications;

Maintaining an efficient file management and bring forward system;

Computer skills and basic knowledge of IT;

Liaise with legal assistants, paralegals, other lawyers and clients on file progress.

QUALIFICATIONS



Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic;

An Administrative Assistant certificate or related educational background;

Ability to prioritize workload and excellent organizational skills;

Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and B.C. Online;

Excellent verbal and written communications skills;

Excellent organizational skills and, attention to detail;

A client centered approach with the commitment to providing outstanding service.
