Currently, we are looking for a full-time administrative assistant & receptionist to join our team on a fixed term contract to meet the summer seasonal demand.
The schedule will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday (shift hours will be determined after being selected).
Major duties are as follows:
-Answer the phone and reply to emails
-Manage student files and documents (physical and digital)
-Maintain student attendance information and class lists
-Prepare orientation information
-Maintain office equipment and order supplies
-Process payments for students
*other duties will be discussed during the interview
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Office Administration or other related field a plus
- Minimum one year of experience in a receptionist/administrative assistant position, working with international students in an educational setting preferred
- MUST be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications; knowledge of educational databases an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Written and oral fluency in English, fluency in other languages such as Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, etc. a plus
- Familiarity with the English language and post-secondary education industries as well as related trends in Canada
