We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in phone systems, and a background in clerical or administrative duties.

Northern Doors services, maintains, and installs an extensive range of products, such as: Commercial Overhead Doors, Residential Garage Doors, Hollow Metal Man Doors and so much more..
Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner, assist customers with parts and other various needs.
Answering phone calls; screening, and directing the calls to the appropriate person, and/or taking detailed messages when required.
Create service workorders, and assist the service scheduler with dispatching as required.
Perform data entry including invoicing, processing payments, issuing receipts, and filing.
Answer, and direct emails to the appropriate department.
Prepare letters and packages for shipment when required.
Maintain a tidy front office area.
Assist the digital marketing coordinator with online marketing initiatives and respond to Facebook, Instagram, and website inquiries in a timely manner.
Provide general administrative support to office staff, as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proficient in general clerical tasks including typing, filing, and data entry.
Previous experience in the door industry is an asset, but is not required.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Excellent customer service skills and professional phone etiquette.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
Present a positive and professional image.
Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required
Dress Code: Business casual
Compensation & Benefits
Wage: $20-$22 per hour (based on experience)
