Receptionist/administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a part-time/full-time receptionist/clerk for a busy, downtown law office. The ideal candidate will have prior office and receptionist experience, the ability to multi-task, and provide professional, confidential service.

HOURS

: Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm

Would consider a post-secondary student that has around 25 hours of weekday availability.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:



Answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls Receiving and sending mail and email Scanning, photocopying and filing Maintain calendars and diary system General administrative tasks

REQUIREMENTS:



Able to work in Canada Proficient with Mac computers and Microsoft office Good written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills Prior reception experience preferred Ability to perform physical activities as required, including bending, reaching and lifting up to 20 lbs

Salary



Varies with experience, possibility of higher compensation for extensive law office experience
