Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone, take messages, and address all caller questions
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Collect and process payments from patients and insurance companies
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Attend to email correspondence
- Keep office clean and ensure all equipment is ready for practitioners
- Coordinate office supplies and equipment maintenance
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred
- Knowledge of Chiropractic office procedures would be as asset; especially knowledge of the Jane software
- Must be able to multi-task in an organized and efficient manor
- Must be personable with a professional demenour
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:
- Must be willing to interact with patients on a constant basis
- Part time hours: Tuesday closing shift, Wednesday opening shift, Thursday closing shift and Saturday opening shift.
- Occasional need to cover co-worker shifts during vacation time
