Job Summary



the role will support 2 professional offices with their admin work. One is a medical diagnostic clinic; and the second is a professioinal services office. You will be based out of Vaughan office (near VMC). Hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm, with some flexibility. 2-week in-person training in Hamilton: Must be able to commute

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in various software applications, and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.

Responsibilities



Greet and assist clients and visitors at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately while maintaining excellent phone etiquette Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date Handle clerical duties including filing, typing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other softwares for various administrative tasks Support the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing calendars Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a positive first impression

Experience



Previous office experience is required; experience in a medical or dental office is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is essential Familiarity with VELOX software is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and proofreading Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on providing support to clients in a friendly manner Experience working with multi-line phone systems is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
