About the role

Reporting to the Business Support Coordinator, the Receptionist will provide a range of reception and administrative support to the Yellowknife office.
This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has a strong work ethic and who enjoys working in a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing using exceptional customer service skills.
Maintains front desk and switch board system following procedures / guidelines established. Informs visitors, site employees and phone calls by answering or referring enquiries.
Processes incoming/outgoing mail and follows internal site mail procedures for Corporate Office, mine site, PSF and G&G in addition to courier mail services.
Maintains security by following procedures, maintains visitor logs, and issuing visitor and employee swipe cards and building fobs.
Maintains office and kitchen supplies, evacuation plan and emergency lists, parking stall management, DDMI Reception folder, Business Resiliency Team (BRT) cabinet supplies.
Adheres to Rio Tinto document control standards.
Maintenance building requests using McCor Management ticket system.
Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Grade 12 high school diploma
Office or business administration post-secondary an asset
Experience with Microsoft Office software preferred
Additional Information
Priority consideration will be given to qualified applicants who are beneficiaries of the DDMI Participation Agreement Groups and to qualified applicants residing in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Territory.
