. This is a front-line role where you'll help shape the experience of students, families, and teachers as the first point of contact in our studios. You'll handle typical reception and administrative tasks like taking payments, scheduling, responding to inquiries, and managing lesson changes--but the pace of the role varies. Some days require focus, multitasking, and strong people skills; other times are quieter with more downtime. We're looking for someone who can stay engaged during slower moments and take initiative when things get busy, creating a welcoming and professional environment no matter the tempo.

To help you feel connected to what we do, all front desk staff receive

free weekly music lessons

While we aim to accommodate reasonable availability, we're looking for candidates who can commit to a consistent schedule. Having access to a vehicle and being willing to work at different locations when needed is an asset. This is not a casual or on-call role--we're seeking reliable, longer-term team members who can commit to the position for at least one year and are interested in being part of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Who We're Looking For:

Friendly, reliable, and professional Builds positive relationships with students, families, and teachers, while maintaining professional boundaries and a strong sense of responsibility to the school Strong communicator and organized multitasker with good social skills Comfortable with computers and technology and willing to learn new tools as required A musical background is an asset,

but not required -- we welcome candidates who are enthusiastic about music, the arts, or children's activities, and who bring a family-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in learning and participating

A great fit for

university students, those seeking a second job, retirees, or anyone looking to supplement their income with meaningful part-time work in a creative setting

Compensation & Perks:

Wage:

$16.00-$17.00/hour to start

Free weekly private music lessons

Consistent part-time or full-time work hours available Positive, community-focused work environment

Additional Opportunities:

This role is ideal for someone early in their career or seeking supplemental income in a creative environment. While most reception roles at our school are intended as stepping stone positions, we do occasionally identify standout team members with strong leadership potential for added responsibilities, such as assisting management in mentoring and training new staff or helping to coordinate and emcee school events.
