Receptionist / Member Service Representative

to join our team full-time.

Position Overview

As the first point of contact for our members, the Receptionist / Member Service Representative plays a key role in delivering a welcoming and professional experience--both in person and over the phone. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in the financial services industry, and a passion for helping people.

Key Responsibilities

Greet members and visitors warmly, creating a positive and professional first impression. Answer and direct incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette. Provide accurate information on credit union products and services. Assist members with a wide range of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers. Perform daily cash balancing and ensure accurate handling of funds. Support the member service team with administrative duties and daily operations. Maintain confidentiality and uphold all credit union policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a receptionist or member service role, ideally within the financial industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills. Comfortable working with cash and completing balancing procedures. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment. A positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
