This position is available for up to 24 months.
Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, this position is responsible for providing prompt front line service to SCIC customers and corporation staff.
Answer SCIC main phone line and direct calls to various staff.
Direct walk-in traffic to appropriate division within Head Office.
Maintain the visitor security registry.
Assign wifi access to visitors.
Receive customer payments for outstanding balances.
Assist Insurance staff by preparing documents for imaging, keying grain tags and updating basic customer information.
Code all unit invoices, track expenditures and follow-up on discrepancies.
Act as central contact for staff charity activities (i.e. dress down days).
Sign for deliveries.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position you will need a grade 12 diploma with related clerical experience.
Basic farm/agriculture knowledge.
Friendly with a positive attitude.
Basic knowledge of computers, specifically Microsoft Office.
Criminal record check.
Should the successful candidate participate in the Crop Insurance or AgriStability Programs, their account must be in good standing.
