Receptionist (Maternity Leave)/Accounting (Full time, Permanent) - Atlantic Road Construction & Paving



Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is a growing heavy civil construction company specializing in mass excavation, drilling & blasting, pipe & underground utilities, concrete placement and asphalt paving. We are currently looking to hire a friendly, energetic, well-organized individual to represent our company in a professional manner as the Receptionist.



Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will be cross trained in all aspects of our accounting department while on the reception desk. Following the maternity leave term, the successful candidate will ideally move into a permanent role in our accounting department.

Requirements


• Consistently reliable & punctual with a positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Able to effectively manage time & prioritize tasks while maintaining a high level of organization.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong aptitude for accounting tasks & data entry.
• Post-secondary education in business administration/accounting preferred.




Duties and Responsibilities:


• Answering phones, greeting clients & directing various inquiries appropriately.
• Assisting the accounting team with full cycle accounting tasks.
• Receiving candidates applying for work with the company.
• Performing administrative tasks that are critical to business operations.
• Filing, copying & scanning documents as required
• Completing tasks for the CEO & President as required.
