Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Kitchener, Ontario. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and deliver excellent customer service will be key to success.
Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors and clients in a courteous and attentive manner.
• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
• Handle routine administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining office records.
• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Provide support to other team members by handling correspondence and distributing mail.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly or escalate them to the appropriate person.
• Maintain an updated directory of staff and department contacts for efficient communication.
• Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High attention to detail, especially when performing data entry tasks.
• Proficiency with standard office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to consistently demonstrate a welcoming and detail-oriented demeanor.
