As the first point of contact for many clients, families, and community members, the Receptionist / Administrative Support plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment. Based at our office at

21 Angeline Street

, this position provides both

walk-in and telephone reception

as well as

administrative support

to various service areas across the organization.



Key Responsibilities





Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate reception services in person and over the phone, ensuring all clients and visitors feel valued and supported.
Serve as a knowledgeable first point of contact for inquiries, connecting individuals to appropriate programs, services, or staff members.
Record, maintain, and accurately transfer visitor and client information while ensuring confidentiality.
Receive and process client payments in collaboration with the Accounting department, maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Assist clients with parking payments and ensure the proper maintenance of the Parking Boxxe system.
Document and track visitors to

21 Angeline Street

in compliance with Health & Safety practices.
Maintain a welcoming, organized reception and waiting area, ensuring that community resources and informational materials are current and accessible.
Provide administrative and project support to various Community Care service areas, helping ensure efficient program delivery.
Assist with meeting preparation, document formatting, and other general office administrative tasks as required.


Qualifications





Post-secondary certificate in Office or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of

three (3) years

of experience in an administrative or customer service role.
Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service, with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs in a dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in responding to inquiries within the scope of the position.


COMPENSATION:





The wage range for this exciting opportunity is

$18.65 - $20.44

Selected candidates will be appropriately placed on the organizations wage grid based on skill, knowledge and experience.*
