We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a welcoming and organized front desk operation, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Duties
Greet visitors and clients with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools
Perform data entry tasks accurately into various software systems such as QuickBooks and other office databases
Handle clerical duties including filing, photocopying, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records
Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, bookkeeping, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks
Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Support other administrative functions such as managing emails, preparing reports, and supporting team members as needed
Ordering parts as required
Experience
Prior office experience is preferred, especially in administrative or clerical roles
Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations is highly desirable
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools is essential
Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping is essential for this position
Familiarity with Mitchel repair center is essential.
Customer service experience
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and proofreading tasks
Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills are required
Previous shop atmosphere considered an asset.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
