Receptionist
to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for clients, owners, and contractors.
Position Summary
The Receptionist plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our office by supporting the management and accounting teams. This position handles a range of clerical, communication, and coordination duties, with additional support responsibilities in accounts payable and receivable.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and direct all visitors and clients in a courteous, professional manner.
Answer and route phone calls and emails promptly and accurately.
Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
Maintain office appearance and ensure common areas remain tidy and stocked.
Assist with preparing correspondence, resident notices, and documentation.
Coordinate meeting room bookings and setup for board and staff meetings.
Support accounts receivable by assisting with bank deposits, arrears collection, and payment posting.
Assist with accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices and related documentation.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of administrative, accounting, or front-desk experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong computer skills and technology savvy.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Familiarity with QuickBooks, Asana, Basecamp, or similar tools is an advantage.
Experience in property management, real estate, or legal administration is considered an asset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment.
Must have a reliable vehicle for occasional banking or errands.
Compensation
Monthly Gross Salary: $3,800
Group benefits offered after successful completion of the probationary period
Working Conditions
Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
Casual Friday dress code; professional office attire required on other days.
One-hour lunch break daily between 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
This role is fully on-site and is not eligible for remote work.
