Employment Terms: Full-Time, Contract (10 Months)

The Opportunity:

A key member of the AWC team and our auxiliary programs, the Receptionist will greet visitors and manage entry conditions, answer the AWC telephone line and manage the reception inbox, and respond to inquiries and requests for information in a welcoming and professional manner.

Reporting to the Director, AWC, the Receptionist will provide administrative assistance for auxiliary programming which includes coordinating calendars for events taking place at the AWC, room bookings, preparing materials and liaising with external user groups and community members as required.

The Receptionist also acts as the Camp Administrator for Branksome Hall Day Camps and provides administrative support to the Director, Summer Camps throughout the year, most notably from camp registration launch to the final day of camp operations.

With post-secondary training in a related field and a minimum of 2-3 years related experience, the successful candidate possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with various stakeholders including students, campers, colleagues, parents and the external community. Your experience and passion for working with youth is demonstrated daily as you manage their requests. With superior customer service skills and strong attention to detail, you thrive in a team environment that is fast-paced and dynamic. Excellent organizational skills with a proficiency in Google Suite and the ability to learn new databases with ease round out your profile.

The hours of work for this position are 9:30 a.m. \xe2\x80\x93 5:30 p.m., Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday. Hours of work may shift slightly as we transition from the end of the school year to the start of summer camp operations.

Target Hiring Range: $39,200.00 \xe2\x80\x93 49,000.00 per annum (salary is prorated based on the duration of the contract)
