Geneticks is the first private lab in Canada dedicated to providing an accessible and reliable service for testing ticks for tick-borne diseases. We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of

Receptionist / Marketing Strategist

. This is a hybrid role where the successful candidate will be responsible for both receptionist duties and driving marketing initiatives forward. We are seeking a highly organized individual who is passionate about public health and working in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

Receptionist Duties:

Answer phones and respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner Assist walk-in customers Send out completed testing reports to clients Process customer payments when needed

Marketing Responsibilities:

Implement marketing strategies to recruit veterinary and healthcare clinics, as well as other at-risk organizations, to use our tick testing services Use social media platforms to promote Geneticks and raise awareness about tick safety and disease prevention Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as blog posts, social media content, and newsletters Collaborate with the team to develop new marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

Strong communication and customer service skills Experience in a administrative or customer-facing role Background or interest in marketing and social media management Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Experience with website modification (WordPress preferred) Some understanding of tick-borne diseases such as Lyme Disease

Work Schedule:

Hybrid Role:

In-person work required from

April 1st - July 31st

and

October 1st - December 31st

Remote work available from

January 1st - March 30th

and

August 1st - September 30th

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
