POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented and organized individual to join our dynamic team as the Receptionist / Admin & Accounts Payable Assistant. This position will provide general administrative and clerical assistance while attending and greeting visitors and answering phone calls as well as providing Accounts Payable support. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a high level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reception duties, including maintaining a multi-line switchboard for several companies.
Provide administrative and clerical support to Senior Management and the Accounting department.
Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Assist the Accounts Payable department with coding, data entry, and processing payments in Jonas Construction accounting software.
Other administrative and accounting tasks, as needed.
EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in reception or administrative role, preferably in a construction environment.
Experience in processing Accounts Payable
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Working knowledge of Jonas Construction accounting software, considered an asset.
Equivalencies will be considered.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, overtime as required
Compensation: $45,000 to $50,000 annually
Benefits: Extended Health Care benefits and Group Retirement Plan available after expiration of waiting period
Job Location: LaSalle, Ontario One Site. There is no option for working remotely.
Required education: Grade 12 education or equivalent - required University/College degree/diploma in related field - considered an asset
Required Experience: 3+ years in related field
