We are a public practice CPA firm serving individuals, corporations, and new immigrants in BC, Canada. We pride ourselves on professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional client service. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support our tax, corporate services, and daily office operations.
Position Overview
This position is the first point of contact for clients and plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations throughout our T1, T2, and corporate service workflows. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple deadlines--especially during tax season.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients, answer phone calls, and manage general inquiries.
- Prepare and organize documents for personal and corporate tax filings (training provided).
- Assist with collecting client information, signatures, and filing documents.
- Handle scanning, digital filing, and maintaining organized records.
- Support corporate registry filings such as annual reports and basic updates (training
provided).
- Communicate with the CRA on routine client matters
- Process mail, courier packages, and manage office supplies.
- Assist accountants with administrative tasks, scheduling, and follow-up emails.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- No prior administrative experience required (On job-training will be provided.
Experience in a CPA firm is an asset but not mandatory).
- Strong communication skills (English and Cantonese required; Mandarin an asset).
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable calling CRA and navigating client inquiries.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to proofread work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
