ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT RSEI Consultants Ltd. is a Fredericton-based Electrical Engineering Consulting Firm with 12 employees. The firm has specialized in the design and supervision of Power, Lighting & Communications Systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings and projects in Atlantic Canada since 1993. The candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks. Managing multiple tasks and priorities is one of the most challenging aspects of working as an Administrative Assistant within this office. It involves juggling various responsibilities and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time, despite competing priorities and changing deadlines. This advertisement is for an in-person office position in Fredericton, NB. Responsibilities: - Provide a variety of administrative and clerical activities. - Order and maintain office supplies and materials. - Maintain files, both paper and electronic. - Welcome visitors to the office. - Answer phone calls, take and deliver messages. - Review, modify and prepare technical specifications, general templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence materials. - Manage and coordinate office calendars and contact lists. - Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership. - Provide relief or backup support to other administrative staff, as required. - Assist with all other general office duties. Skills and Experience: - Post-secondary education in office administration is considered an asset. - Administrative experience in a professional working environment is considered an asset. - Administrative experience in an engineering or architectural environment is considered an asset. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines. - Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills in English is a requirement, French is an asset. - Experience using Adobe Acrobat is an asset. - Experience in technical specification writing in engineering fields is an asset. - Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative. - Strong attention to detail.
