The Position



Join our vibrant team and become the welcoming face of Novus! In the role of Reception, you are a key part of the Customer Solutions team, serving as the first point of contact for our valued customers and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional and engaging experience from the moment they arrive. You'll manage front desk duties and play a crucial role in delivering prompt, thoughtful solutions to customer inquiries. Some Responsibilities Include



Greet any guest or walk-in customer with enthusiasm and warmth

Provide professional and pleasant customer service via email and in person

Promote and recommend Television, Internet & Phone services

Process new accounts and schedule appointments as well as ensuring work orders are accurately entered

Provide thorough explanations about billing and payment process to our customers

Collect and process payments via cash, cheque, credit/debit cards etc.

Manage equipment pick-ups and returns

Manage any deliveries to the office

Complete various administrative tasks for the Customer Solutions team and other departments

Maintain and organize the reception area, keep clear of clutter, water the plants, etc.

Perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications and Skills



Genuinely passionate about connecting with others and being of service to your community

An excellent communicator with strong oral and written skills

A team player but can also work independently with minimum supervision

Cool under pressure - you have the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and can manage and diffuse upset customers

Highly organized with exceptional customer service skills

Have strong attention to detail

An analytical thinker - you have the excellent ability to take initiative and prioritize

Goal oriented and thrive working in a fast paced, rapidly evolving and dynamic environment

1-3 years' experience in a customer service function

Computer knowledge in MS programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Grade 12 level education
