Summary

This is a full-time, on-site role based in our production facility. As the Receiving Coordinator, you'll be a key link between production, service, shipping, and overall customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, unpacking and preparing goods, assembling and labeling merchandise, and coordinating transportation. You'll work closely with the Logistics Manager, along with drivers, production staff, foremen, and supply chain partners to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all daily receiving activities, ensuring accuracy in product quantity and quality. Unload incoming deliveries, inspect materials, and promptly flag and follow up on any discrepancies or damaged goods. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all received materials and ensure proper documentation is completed. Communicate effectively with inventory, production, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth material flow. Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and fully compliant with company safety standards and policies. Collaborate with the shipping and logistics teams to support efficient inbound and outbound operations. Support inventory control through regular cycle counts and ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and rotated. Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to confirm delivery schedules, resolve issues, and track shipments as needed. Identify areas for process improvement within receiving operations and support continuous improvement initiatives. Train, coach, and assist receiving team members to maintain performance standards around safety, speed, and accuracy. Strictly follow all health and safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of experience in receiving or shipping within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Minimum High school diploma or GED Solid understanding of receiving best practices, inventory control, and safety protocols. Strong organizational and multitasking skills you're always one step ahead. Good communication skills you know how to work with internal teams and outside vendors. Comfortable using ERP systems, scanners, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). A proactive, hands-on attitude you don't wait around, you make things happen. Experience in windows, doors, or wood products manufacturing. Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with materials used in custom manufacturing. Knowledge of Health & Safety, WSIB, and ESA standards. Ability to read packing slips, PO numbers, and basic product specs.

Pay: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
