Job Description

Plainsman Mfg. Inc. is looking to hire a Receiver/Shipper. (We ask that

candidates be located close to the Edmonton

area).

Pay Type:

Hourly

Hours: Monday to Friday; 8:00am - 5pm.

Skills or Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and write English. Forklift experience. Physically able. Computer skills. Valid Class 5 license.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receiving items and purchase orders correctly in ERP systems. Physically stocking away items and purchase orders in proper locations. Marking, packaging, material handling. Safe operation of forklift. Knowledge on requirements for international shipments. Loading/Unloading of trucks. Work with other departments (sales, purchasing). Adhere to the safety program. Adhere to the quality systems.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Miscellaneous tasks requested by supervisors/managers. Helping others when needed. 5S work area.
